Position: Technical Solutions Manager (Sweet Protein)

**Location: **United States – Remote

The estimated salary range is $105,000 - $130,000 based on experience level.

Bestzyme is currently looking for a Technical Support Manager for our Americas Market. This role work as a critical technical expert and problem-solver in North/South America, primarily responsible for technical support to achieve sustainable business growth in the food ingredient line. The Technical Support Manager acts as a vital bridge between customers, BD/sales, and R&D, contributing to driving commercial success and product improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit customer to clearly understand customer’s need and provide application solutions to clients, tackling formulation and technology challenges
  • Trouble shooting for internal/external customers, provide technical support to customers and align with regional BD/sales to complete the sales target
  • Work closely with customers in their new product development projects to help create new product concept
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize product performance, refine product testing procedures and develop new solutions
  • Monitor industry technology/formulating trends and competitive products to support products positioning
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, technical forums, or customer seminars, convey product value to the market as a technical representative

Qualifications

  • Food science/technology/engineering, bachelor degree or above
  • 5 years or above working experience of application and formula development, technical support in food & beverage, food ingredients, sweetener or flavor & fragrance industry
  • Strong internal and external communication skills. Elaborate strong approach to quickly identify the cause of customers' technical issues and strong problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with ingredient and end product regulations in the food and nutrition industry
  • Highly motivated and positive to get work done, and the ability to work independently
  • Fluent spoken and write in both English and Chinese is preferred, good communication with the global remote tea

Mandarin - speaking (Bilingual preferred)
