Summary: The Finance Officer is a vital entry-level role responsible for supporting the organization’s financial operations with accuracy, diligence, and integrity. Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and transaction logs, and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis. Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely and accurate payment cycles. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual departmental budgets and monitor variances against forecasted figures.
Prepare foundational financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements. Support compliance with tax regulations and internal financial controls and policies. Review and approve employee expense reports and oversee petty cash disbursements. Collaborate with team leads to deliver timely financial insights and reports that support operational and strategic planning.
