Essential Functions

Monitors patients undergoing continuous video EEG for safety. Alerts supervising seizure diagnostic technician of clinical/subclinical seizures or behavioral changes. Assists in monitoring all EMU patients to ensure patient safety. Recognizes normal and abnormal EEG waveform patterns and troubleshoots EEG reading in real time to minimize the risk of poor or incomplete data.

Assists supervising seizure diagnostic technician as needed, including restocking supplies. Collaborates and communicates with health care team. Attends in-services and meetings as required/requested. Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
