Use Calibri 18 font here Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and managing the implementation of projects aimed at improving plant performance metrics, optimizing operations, and enhancing productivity by reducing waste and rework. Define manufacturing processes and their operating ranges

  • Approve plant procedures for all manufacturing processes
  • Identify deviations and define the necessary actions to keep processes under control
  • Define and lead strategic projects to improve process efficiency
  • Develop and maintain the necessary methods to ensure that critical variables remain under control
  • Reduce process variability
  • Reduce costs associated with rework and waste
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary improvement teams.
  • Advise production areas on technical aspects of process engineering.
  • Ensure that staff under your supervision comply with the Quality and Safety Policy
  • Ensure that personnel under your responsibility are trained in safety, health, and environmental procedures and policies, and guarantee the necessary resources to prevent harm to people, equipment, materials, facilities, and the environment.
  • Embrace and champion the Environmental Management System.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with the Environmental Management System policy.
  • Manage the change process related to the Environmental Management System.
  • Promote compliance with operational controls, as well as the management of risks and opportunities.
  • Embrace and champion the Environmental Management System.

Qualifications

Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or related field Master’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Productivity, or a related field is preferred Experience: 5 years in manufacturing; experience in the ceramics industry or with ceramic processes is preferred.
