Merchandise Planner

Responsible for one or more departments. Accountable for the development of strategic analysis to accomplish defined merchandise strategies in assigned department/s, consistent with the company’s merchandise and financial goals. Strategically forecasts performance variances for specific departments in conjunction with merchant, allocation, and marketing input.

Owns and participates in the development and execution of strategies and forecasts to mitigate plan shortfalls and/or maximize overages to accomplish sales, margin and inventory turn objectives.
