Priority Screening Date: 3/22/2026 Exam # 26/50M21/03JH SUMMARY OF POSITION The Animal Services Bureau has an opening for a regular part-time (0.5 FTE) Registered Veterinary Technician at Hitchcock Road Animal Services (HRAS) in Salinas. This part time position with a flexible schedule will assist with spay/neuter surgeries (that may include shelter pets, feral cats, or owned pets), vaccination clinics, and assisting with shelter medical rounds as needed for animals housed within the shelter.
