Role Description We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Associate Product & MERN Stack Developer to join our Chennai team. This is a hybrid product-development role where you will wear multiple hats — gathering and documenting business requirements, participating in client-facing product demos, and building scalable full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
The ideal candidate actively uses AI tools to accelerate development workflows, improve code quality, and solve problems efficiently. You will work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Requirements & Analysis Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria Participate in discovery sessions and requirement review meetings Maintain structured documentation using tools such as Notion, Confluence, or equivalent Identify gaps, conflicts, and ambiguities in requirements Serve as a connector between business stakeholders and the engineering team Assist in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and effort estimation Coordinate with QA teams to ensure test cases align with requirements Communicate project status, blockers, and risks Product Demonstrations & Client Interaction Prepare and deliver product demos to clients and stakeholders Understand client pain points and present solutions clearly Gather and convert feedback into actionable tasks Coordinate with teams to tailor demos for different use cases MERN Stack Development Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.
js, React.js, and Node.js Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React.js Manage database schemas and data modelling Write clean, modular, and well-documented code Debug, optimize, and improve performance, security, and scalability Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards AI Tools Proficiency Use AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude) for development workflows Leverage AI for code generation, debugging, and documentation Explore AI-based solutions to automate workflows Stay updated with emerging AI tools and practices Validate and refine AI-generated outputs before use Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Experience 1–3 years of professional experience in a development or product-focused role 2–3 years of experience in business requirement gathering and documentation 1–2 years of hands-on MERN stack development experience Additional Information Location: Chennai — OMR Office (On-Site Only) Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on skills & experience) Interview Mode: In-Person (Candidate must be available in Chennai)
