This is a permanent, site-based opportunity offering full training across all areas of the plant, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and being part of a supportive team. You’ll gain experience across the full production process, including asphalt mixing, loading operations, and weighbridge duties, with ongoing training provided from day one. Attitude and willingness to learn are the most important qualities for this role. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 06:00–15:00, plus Saturdays 06:00–09:00. What You'll Be Doing Operating and supporting different areas of the asphalt production plant, including mixing, loading, and weighbridge activities Carrying out routine plant checks, housekeeping duties, and basic equipment maintenance Loading and unloading materials safely while supporting the smooth running of daily plant operations Following health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment Supporting colleagues across the site and learning new processes through ongoing training Who you are You have a positive attitude and are keen to learn new skills in a practical working environment You’re reliable, punctual, and enjoy working as part of a team You’re comfortable working in an outdoor and industrial setting You understand the importance of health and safety and take pride in maintaining high standards onsite We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
