Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a Lead MES Administrator to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. Apply and share your resume with us today! Primary Responsibilities: Solution Design and Architecture Integrate and lead architecture of complex Factory.

Logix solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, manufacturing processes, and IT infrastructure for new and existing manufacturing environments. Develop comprehensive technical specifications, design documents, and integration strategies for Factory. Logix implementations. Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements, and automation within the Factory.

Logix ecosystem. Implementation and Configuration Assist in executing the full lifecycle implementation of Factory. Logix modules. Configure and customize Factory. Logix to meet specific manufacturing needs, including routings, BOMs, work instructions, quality plans, and data collection. Integrate Factory. Logix with other enterprise systems (ERP, PLM) using various integration methods (APIs, databases, middleware).

Assist in the development and implementation of inventory tracking systems that talk directly with Aegis Factory. Logix. Establish and maintain work centers for factory resource planning. Technical Leadership and Support Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, junior engineers, and stakeholders. Mentor and train internal teams on Factory.

Logix best practices, new features, and troubleshooting. Lead complex troubleshooting efforts for Factory. Logix-related issues, providing advanced technical support. Develop and implement proactive monitoring and maintenance strategies for Factory. Logix systems. Optimization and Documentation Analyze existing Factory.

Logix implementations to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Factory. Logix configurations, processes, and integrations. Establish and enforce best practices for Factory. Logix implementation, administration, and usage. Training and Collaboration Provide hands-on support during implementation phases, including blueprinting, prototyping, testing, data migration, go-live, and post-go-live support.

Lead training workshops for end-users and IT teams to ensure smooth adoption and knowledge transfer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing systems with other enterprise applications. Act as the point of contact for the manufacturing team on all Factory.

Logix-related topics and participate in relevant meetings/workshops with stakeholders. Skills and Competencies Expertise in Factory. Logix configuration, customization, and integration. Proficiency in APIs, databases, and middleware for system integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization and troubleshooting.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders. Ability to develop and deliver training workshops and technical documentation.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate will have a BS degree in engineering or similar discipline with 8-12years of experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Candidates with associates degree with 10 + years of experience will be considered. 2 + years of experience in MES implementation, with a strong focus on MES Aegis Factory.

Logix. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, IT systems integration, and enterprise applications (ERP, PLM, MES, SCADA). U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Pay Range

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
