What you'll be doing? Assess suppliers: Evaluate the capability of suppliers and vendors to support production from development and quality/cost perspectives. Ensure quality: Work proactively with factories and the tech team to ensure quality on garments is met. Manage relationships: Oversee and develop the team to establish relationships with clients and manage their expectations.

Maintain relationships: Sustain good relationships with both internal and external parties to achieve overall development/production schedules and on-time delivery. Support business growth: Support sourcing strategy and the growth of the business. Explore new vendors: Explore and source new vendors/suppliers to cope with business growth.

Stay close with customers: Stay close to customers on strategies and priorities of the orders that come through the pipeline. Review performance: Review overall factory performance and call out for improvements. Develop strategy: Develop business strategy and sustain ongoing improvement on daily operations or introduce new processes to achieve cost efficiency.

Who are they looking for?

Education

University graduate in Textile/Clothing or related discipline. Experience: At least 15 years' solid experience in the garment trading field; experience in the USA market on ladies' fashion is highly preferable. Skills: Solid experience in managing offshore vendors, strong leadership and people management skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and good time management.

Language proficiency: Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese including Mandarin, as communication with clients and vendors in different regions is essential. Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Travel: Occasional business travel is expected.
