Surgery Scheduler - IRMC Physician Group - Gastroenterology - Full Time

Now accepting applications for a Full-Time Surgery Scheduler. This position is responsible for the day-to-day pre-registration, scheduling and coordinating of surgery patients. The position reports to the assigned Practice Manager. The representative is expected to perform with a consistent standard of excellence in pre-registration of scheduled patient accounts to validate patient information and verify insurance eligibility and communicate specific information to the patient prior to the surgical date. The representative will work with various scheduling department, Operating rooms, and surgical centers to maximize the surgeon’s OR schedule. They will also have excellent customer service skills to assist the patient and the health system in navigation of these patients.
