Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to our Baptist Primary Care office at Durbin Crossing in St Johns, Florida.

This opening is a full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:15AM-5:15PM. This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Durbin Crossing office. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, assisting provider and obtaining vitals. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for: Provides nursing assistance to physicians Obtains vital signs Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit Telephone triage Patient education Maintains medical documentation Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests and referrals Cross train in front office, referrals and other areas Experience Requirements: Over 3 years Patient Care Experience Experience in Physician's office Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Required Associate's degree Preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Require This Medical Assistant position will be located at Baptist Primary Care
