Junior Design Engineer (Structures)

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the structural design and analysis of water supply infrastructure components under rural drinking water supply schemes. Prepare structural design calculations, reports, drawings, and detailing for various project components. Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, and design documents for compliance with project requirements.

Support senior engineers in design optimization and value engineering exercises. Coordinate with project teams to ensure integration of structural designs with overall project requirements. Assist in site inspections and provide technical support during construction activities. Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, safety requirements, and quality assurance procedures.

Support preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, and cost estimates. Maintain design documentation and contribute to project progress reporting.
