As R&D Network & Security Team Lead , you'll take ownership of embedding cybersecurity principles into the lifecycle of our robotic and software systems, while leading and developing a team of security professionals. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, and compliance teams to define the security strategy, assess risks, set security requirements, and drive our alignment with regulations and standards including NIS2, CRA, and IEC 62443.
Lead and grow a small team responsible for network and cybersecurity across our robotics platforms and IT infrastructure Define and oversee the implementation of cybersecurity measures, policies, and controls, translating NIS2 and CRA requirements into actionable practices Own the security risk assessment and threat modelling process, guiding the team's methodology and output Set and enforce secure software and hardware development practices across R&D Drive product certifications and assessments related to IEC 62443 and ISO27001 Lead incident response planning, security testing, and coordinate response efforts when needed Represent the security function in cross-departmental and management discussions Monitor cybersecurity trends and evolving regulatory requirements, and translate these into team priorities and roadmap Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in leading a team or projects, preferably in an industrial, cybersecurity or embedded systems context Strong knowledge of the NIS2 directive, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and IEC 62443 standards Solid understanding of network security, secure software development, and industrial control system (ICS) security Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical team members Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proactive, decisive, and team-oriented leadership style Fluency in English and Dutch What do we offer you?
