Part-Time Hybrid Registered Dietitian – Behavioral Health Company: RD Nutrition Consultants Location: Michigan Overview RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition consulting services for two behavioral health facilities in Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible, hybrid position that combines onsite patient care with remote work while making a meaningful impact on patient wellness and overall care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nutrition assessments and counseling for patients as appropriate. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient care. Offer guidance on nutrition-related aspects of behavioral health conditions.

Complete nutrition documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate. Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Perform additional nutrition-related duties within the Registered Dietitian scope of practice.

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required). Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or clinical nutrition preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working independently in both onsite and remote environments. Experience with electronic medical records and documentation systems.

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
