Reserve Firefighter

Under the direction of an assigned Fire Captain, performs responsible duties in the suppression of fires; maintains fire department equipment, apparatuses and facilities; provides emergency medical care for sick and injured individuals.  The Reserve Firefighter class performs routine fire suppression and firehouse maintenance duties at an assigned facility.

This class is not a full time class and incumbents are called in to supplement the regular workforce as needed.
