Quick Lube of Carolina is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrative Assistant to support our growing HR team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume administrative environment and enjoys working with data.

The primary focus of this role is accurate payroll data entry, along with onboarding support, recruiting administration, employee record maintenance, and workers' compensation coordination. During slower periods, this role will also provide administrative support to our Accounting team.

What You'll Do

Enter and maintain weekly payroll data for approximately 600 employees in Workday with a high level of accuracy, including hours worked, pay rate changes, deductions, and other payroll-related information Verify payroll data for completeness and accuracy while meeting strict weekly deadlines Support the recruiting process by posting job openings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters Coordinate employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork, Workday data entry, and I-9/E-Verify processing Receive, scan, and forward garnishment orders, tax notices, and other payroll-related documents to our payroll provider for processing Ensure workers' compensation incident reports are completed thoroughly and submitted to our insurance broker in a timely manner Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records, both electronic and paper Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Director and leadership team Assist the Accounting department with administrative and data entry projects during lower-volume periods Perform other administrative duties as assigned What You Bring 2–4 years of administrative, HR, payroll support, or office administration experience Exceptional data entry skills with a strong focus on speed, accuracy, and attention to detail Experience working with high-volume administrative tasks while meeting deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (Workday experience is a plus but not required) Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
