Regional Controls SME

The Regional Controls SME serves as the technical authority for industrial automation and controls systems across Carlex's automotive glass manufacturing facilities (LGP, AGP, NGP). As a member of the Manufacturing Technology team within Corporate Technology & Engineering, this role exists to support, standardize, implement, teach, guide, advise, and communicate controls best practices across all plants.

The Regional Controls SME provides hands-on troubleshooting and technical leadership for capital projects, reduces reliance on external system integrators, and builds internal controls capability through mentorship, documentation, and training, while enforcing consistent controls architecture, programming standards, and OT cybersecurity alignment across the region.
