Job Title: Per Diem Family Medicine Physician Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Medicine Physician to provide high-quality care on a per diem basis. The physician will manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, deliver preventive care, and coordinate patient care across multiple settings.
This role offers flexibility while maintaining continuity of care for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Deliver preventive care services, including immunizations, screenings, and health counseling.
Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed. Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards. Educate patients and families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine. Valid medical license to practice in [State]. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Commitment to patient-centered care. Working Conditions: Per diem schedule with flexible hours.
Outpatient clinical setting; may involve hospital or urgent care coverage depending on assignment. Fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
