013-036 Highlands Forklift Operator $13.36 (SC, Cheraw)

Primary Purpose:

To perform job duties to meet the requirements of the contract.

Duties:

• Check forklift and hoists daily at start of shift for safety and running condition

• Pack and locate rolls accurately

• Responsible for all location changes for rolls or materials moved

• Report any problems with equipment

• Demonstrate safe forklifting practices whenever using the forklift

• Demonstrate safe forklifting practices whenever using the forklift

• Run roll separation equipment and check separation rolls for defects

• Responsible for general housekeeping in work area.

• Any other duties requested by department supervisor

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

• Must have at least 1 year or better of forklift experience and at least 2 consistent years working at a facility

• Must be able to pass eye exam

• Must be able to do basic math and use handheld scanner as well as computer to enroll information into the system

• Must be able to take directions from other Senior operators and trainers and follow instructions

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift 25 pounds for the entire shift

• Must be willing to wear all required PPE

• Must adhere to all safety protocols
