Spring 2027 Field Superintendent Intern

Description CM&B is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Field Superintendent Intern (Co-op) to join our project teams and gain hands-on experience in commercial construction. Working alongside experienced Superintendents, interns will gain exposure to day-to-day field operations, safety management, subcontractor coordination, and project execution while building a strong foundation in construction management.

This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields who are interested in exploring a career in construction operations. What You'll Learn As a Field Intern, you will: Develop an understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Gain exposure to the planning and execution of commercial construction projects. Learn how superintendents coordinate subcontractors and manage daily jobsite activities. Observe and participate in safety inspections and jobsite safety initiatives. Build knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices.

Experience the collaboration required between field teams, project managers, clients, and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Superintendent with day-to-day jobsite operations. Review project drawings and documents to understand project scope and construction activities. Support subcontractor coordination and field communication. Participate in site walks and safety inspections. Help monitor jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA requirements.

Assist with maintaining daily reports, logs, and project documentation. Support preparation for weekly project meetings. Perform additional field and project-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications Construction Management major, or related field OSHA 10 required (can be completed upon hire) Ability to travel to site daily Accurate and efficient with a strong work ethic and interpersonal communication skills CM&B encourages all Co-op/ Interns to immerse in the company culture by networking internally and participating in company events.
