Job description

Posting Title: Radiologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹2LPM to 2.5LPM Work Experience: 1+ year Responsibilities: Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and quality assurance procedures.

Prepare detailed and accurate reports for each imaging study, highlighting findings and clinical implications. Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide expert imaging insights. Participate in case discussions, tumor boards, and clinical meetings to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of imaging technologies, protocols, and emerging best practices. Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in imaging workflows and reporting accuracy. Support training and mentorship of junior radiology staff and medical students, where applicable.

Requirements

MBBS with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD Radiodiagnosis or equivalent). Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting. Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography studies. Strong understanding of imaging protocols, anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety.

Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Proficiency in PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and electronic medical records (EMR). Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent regulatory body).

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
