The Role As a Bank Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people, helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered.
Key responsibilities
- Support children in daily routines and activities
- Build positive, trusting relationships
- Promote emotional wellbeing and resilience
- Provide a safe, calm, and structured home environment
- Work effectively during challenging situations
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with the wider care team to achieve positive outcomes Requirements Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Passion for supporting children and young people Desirable:
- QCF Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce qualification
- Previous residential childcare or support work experience You Will Be: Compassionate, empathetic, and resilient
