Role and Responsibilities: Our Housekeepers play a vital role in establishing and maintaining a level of comfort and well-being for our clients living at home.
The Housekeeper provides essential support services for the client with warmth and professionalism in the home environment, including, but not limited to: Top-to-bottom cleaning – vacuuming, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, baseboards, floors Detailed cleaning – windows, curtains and blinds, baseboards, ceiling fans and fixtures, cupboards, appliances Housekeeping – changing linens and bed sheets, laundry and ironing All successful applicants will be required to provide a Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check Requirements Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Listening to, understanding, and responding appropriately to client requests and needs Meeting schedules on time and in a diligent manner Accomplishing tasks within designated times with efficiency and quality Ensuring the client is in a safe and comfortable environment Working closely with team members to ensure high quality service is delivered Qualifications and Education Requirements: Legal working status in Canada Excellent communication and organizational skills Required Skills & Credentials: Housekeeping and residential cleaning experience Valid driver’s license, Class 5 English fluency Basic computer literacy Preferred Skills: Experience working with seniors, persons-with-disabilities Physical Requirements: Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time Able to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 20lbs Strong customer service skills and empathy towards others Self-starter with high attention to detail and thoroughness Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple priorities Ability to work within defined deadlines Ability to function within a collaborative team environment Ability to complete physically demanding work for extended periods of time Benefits Benefits Causal Dress Paid Time Off The Compassion Network provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
