Baptist Jacksonville is currently hiring for a PRN Utilization Management Nurse to join our Baptist Downtown Location here in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a PRN role with flexible scheduling opportunities As a Utilization Management Nurse , you will be responsible for: Concurrent monitoring of patient record documentation to verify the need for hospitalization, the appropriate utilization of resources and assist with documentation improvement Responsible for ensuring that the UR Plan is carried out in accordance with all QIO/PRO mandates and government regulations Provides utilization information to commercial carriers per contractual arrangement Assists with discharge planning and case management activities Experience Requirements: 3-5 Years
