Class 1/3 Driver Operator

Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie, AB is looking for Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious team! Our experienced EO/Drivers operate; Hydro Vacs, Wet Vac Trucks, High Pressure Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Combo Units, Chemical Units, trailers, tankers and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

Responsibilities

Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites. Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to a Clean Harbors or 3rd party disposal facility. Performing pre and post trip inspections. Communicating clearly with dispatchers. Doing roadside repairs as needed.

Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

Qualifications

Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license. Ability to operate manual transmission required. Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair. Experience operating equipment such as Combo, Vac, High Pressure, Chemical Unit, Tanker, Hot Oiler, dry ice or core cleaning is an asset, onsite training can be provided.

Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment. Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day. Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
