Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, availability, and service. Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate favourable commercial terms. Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing and delivery of approved purchases. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, and documentation.
Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Support supplier onboarding, evaluation, and performance monitoring. Work closely with Inventory, Retail/F&B, Finance, and other departments to understand and fulfil procurement requirements. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend suitable alternatives where necessary.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, approval processes, and agreed specifications. Resolve supplier-related issues and escalate significant concerns to the Procurement Manager.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional procurement/supply chain certification is an added advantage. Experience: 2–4 years’ relevant experience in procurement, preferably within retail, hospitality, FMCG, entertainment, or a similar fast-paced environment.
Skills & Competencies: Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Good understanding of procurement processes and documentation. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Good communication and relationship-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and organisation.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple requests, and meet deadlines. High level of integrity, accountability, and commercial awareness. * Professional appearance, excellent grooming, discretion, and confidentiality.
