McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Biologic/Infusion Billing Specialist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include

performing duties related to pharmaceutical billing, specific physician coding and clinic charging procedures in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Employee-Level Vision Related Behaviors. Duties include: Audit daily charges for infusional therapies.  Insurance Precertification of infusional drugs.  Counsel patient on cost estimate of treatment.  Enroll patients in financial assistance programs as applicable.  Serve as a coding and reimbursement resource for the providers and nurses.
