Operational hours of availability are 4pm-9pm Tuesday through Saturday and 9am-2pm on Sundays. Training would take place over our lunch shift which is 10am-4pm.
Pay is 18.75/hr+ tips. Job Duties/Tasks: Have a comprehensive knowledge of serving routines. Be available throughout the shift to assist Members with any questions, concerns, or requests as needed. Thoroughly understand all menu items, features, and drinks offered by Glen Oaks Country Club. Produce a high proficiency of our Point of Sale System; locations of all items, ringing in orders which the kitchen can easily understand and separating checks.
Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as they pertain to your scheduled shift to maintain a smooth-running operation. Setting up the banquet/dining rooms. Performs other duties as assigned from time to time. Assists supervisors in setting up special events and parties throughout the Club. Promotes high morale and enthusiasm among staff by providing a positive and team-oriented mentality both on and off the floor.
Provides a high level of cooperation and communication with all allied Departments of the Club.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills. Flexible work hours. Must be available to work nights and weekends. Withstand long periods of time on their feet and walking various distances. Opportunities to advance throughout the Clubhouse.
