WRS has an immediate opening for a Carpenter Laborer who supports carpenters and field crews across all phases of construction. Core work includes concrete forming, placing and finishing, structural framing and painting. The role requires general construction knowledge, safe use of power tools, saws, and careful attention to detail so all works meets quality standards.

Your Responsibilities
Help build, set, brace, align, and strip forms for footings, foundations, walls, slabs and stairs. Assist in placing rebar, embeds, anchor bolts, and blockouts per plans. Clean, oil, and stage forming materials for reuse. Layout, measure, cut and assemble wall, floor, and roof framing. Prep surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and masking.
Apply primers, paints and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers per specification. Safely operate circular, miter and table saws, drills, impact drivers, nail guns, grinders, vibrators, and power trowels. Inspect, clean, stage and transport materials across the job site. Maintain a clean, organized work area while supporting carpenters and other trades as assigned.
Verify work for level, plumb, square and accurate dimensions, correcting defects promptly. Your Experience & Qualifications 1+ years of general construction, laborer, or hands-on trade experience preferred (willing to train candidates with strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and power equipment (saws, drills, impact drivers and nail guns). Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards and job-site safety compliance. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate tools, handle building materials, and perform precision assembly tasks. Ability to consistently lift, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs independently, and up to 100lbs with assistance.
Comfort with continues physical labor including bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing ladders/scaffolding and standing for extended periods (8+hours per day).
