Job description
Country View Veterinary Hospital is seeking a **veterinary professional who is experienced in customer service and veterinary assisting **to join our collaborative team. This unique position combines both front desk and clinical responsibilities, allowing you to play an important role in delivering exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients.
In this position, you will take an active role in:
- Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
- Providing safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care
- Preparing patients, equipment, and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
- Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
- Ability to remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods
- Ability to manage daily patient flow, multiline phones, and process trasactions
Schedule and Compensation:
- Compensation: $18 - $22 per hour, for each hour worked
- This is a **full-time **position, with availability needed Monday-Friday.

** Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set :**

2+ years' experience as a veterinary assistant or client service, customer service representative

Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred

Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and patient care principles

Ability to assist in surgical setup

Ability to assist with exams, treatments, blood draws, and outpatient procedures

Experience collecting patient histories and obtaining patient weights and vital signs

Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service

Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients

Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars

Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
