Responsibilities
As a School Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:
Provide skilled nursing care to students under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, physician, or advanced practice provider.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Monitor and document student health status and medication responses.
Perform nursing procedures including:
Wound care and sterile dressing changes
Catheterization
Tube feedings
Oxygen therapy
Diabetic care
Range of motion therapy
Pre- and post-procedure care
Assist students with activities that promote:
Daily living skills
Social development
Recreational participation
Reality orientation when appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation and health records.
Communicate effectively with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers.
Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Deliver compassionate, culturally competent, and age-appropriate care.
Follow all ATC Healthcare policies, procedures, and school district guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.
Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience within the past three years.
Current CPR/BLS certification required.
Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
Employment physical may be required based on assignment.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Pediatric, school nursing, or behavioral health experience is a plus.
Work Environment

School-based assignments throughout Duval County and surrounding areas.
