Construction Safety Manager

๐Ÿ“ Location: Port Washington, WI

๐Ÿ“… Duration: 6 Months (Start: Immediate Need)

๐Ÿ“‹ Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

๐Ÿ’ฐ Pay Rate: $60/HR

๐Ÿจ Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week)

๐ŸŽฏ Completion Bonus: $150/month

๐Ÿ’ต Pay Frequency: Weekly

โฐ Schedule: 60 Hours Per Week | Monday-Saturday | 1st Shift

Required Qualifications

โœ” OSHA 30 Certification

โœ” 5+ years of field construction safety experience

โœ” Electrical construction safety experience required

Preferred Qualifications

โญ NFPA 70E Training or Certification

โญ Data center construction experience

โญ Experience supporting mission-critical or industrial projects

โญ Experience with energized work planning and electrical hazard assessments

โญ CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily safety activities for electrical construction operations

  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

  • Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements

  • Support and enforce electrical safety procedures and site-specific safety standards

  • Assist with energized work planning and electrical hazard mitigation efforts

  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation

  • Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety training

  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans

  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records

  • Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards

  • Promote a positive safety culture across the project

Technical Knowledge

Candidates should have working knowledge of:

  • OSHA Construction Standards

  • Electrical Construction Safety

  • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Requirements

  • Arc Flash & Shock Hazard Awareness

  • Energized Work Planning

  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

  • Temporary Power Systems

  • Cable Installation Activities

  • Aerial Lifts & MEWPs

  • Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development

  • Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis

  • Contractor Safety Management

  • Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation

  • Data Center Construction Safety
