Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering a variety of services for patients of all ages in the Cushing, Oklahoma area. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.
We also offer inpatient behavioral health care to adults experiencing a mental health crisis by offering a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans and continued support after being discharged. Learn About A Day in the Life of a Med Surg RN: Provide patient care specific to the age of the patient through utilization of the nursing process and by leadership to provide direction to other nursing service personnel and by working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary health care team.
Demonstrates the appropriate skills and ability, based on scope of practice, level of training and/or licensure, to assess, treat, and/or care for patients. Job Requirements: Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) Current Oklahoma RN License BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care MAB N-95 fit test (yearly) Less than one year of experience Provide patient care specific to the age of the patient through utilization of the nursing process and by leadership to provide direction to other nursing service personnel and by working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary health care team.
