Personal Lines CSR Location: Cobourg or Lindsay Ontario (On-site – 5 days per week) Salary: $51,200 – $76,800 per year Experience Required: 3-5 years About the Role Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a solid understanding of insurance? Our Agent Department is seeking a Personal Lines Client Service Representative (CSR) to support our clients.
As a CSR, you will work closely with clients, Agents and underwriters to ensure policy accuracy, process transactions efficiently, and provide proactive client communication. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in a professional, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide prompt, professional service to clients via phone, email, and in person Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage, billing, claims, and policy changes Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements in our Cognition+ system Prepare certificates of insurance, liability slips, pink slips, and proof of insurance documentation Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with company standards Build strong client relationships to support retention and cross-selling opportunities Participate in department meetings, training, and industry events What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of customer service experience, preferably in insurance (Property, Auto, Farm, or Commercial) College diploma or university degree General Insurance (Other Than Life) License or willing to acquire within 2 months of start date Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive, adaptable, “can-do” attitude Assets: CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation Experience with Mutual insurance systems Why Join Us?
