Job Objective: Safely perform troubleshooting, diagnostic analysis, repair, and routine maintenance of production equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards. Essential Job Functions: Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Perform diagnostic analysis, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and routine maintenance of equipment. Make minor adjustments to ensure product meets specifications. Restart equipment following shutdown, ensuring proper operation Doff loom pancakes and transfer to carts. Assist Weavers to Operate set (s) of looms. Repair breaks, draw – in, repair smashes, perform style changes, ensure construction conforms to style sheets. Notifies appropriate personnel of any incidents or situations that would trigger implementation of the contingency plan May perform emergency response duties as required by management Move chemicals and or waste within the facility and maintain chemical storge areas in a clean, orderly manner. Follows applicable EHS department procedures Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Excellent attendance is required. Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends; overtime will be required What You Bring (Qualifications): Must have mechanical aptitude, including troubleshooting. Experience with service and repair of complex production machinery and equipment including electrical and mechanical components a plus. Ability to be certified to complete lockout/tagout operations and to complete Hazardous Communications training. Ability to be certified to operate a powered industrial trucks. Ability to read and interpret dials, gauges, rulers, equipment service manuals, and general instructions. Ability to accurately complete paperwork and data entry. High school diploma/GED required. Ability to learn independently including book, web-base and classroom participation. Previous textile manufacturing experience is a plus. Full-time presence required Additional tasks as assigned Work Environment & Schedule: Onsite manufacturing environment with shift-based schedule.
