POSITION SUMMARY

A Customer Service Representative is an individual with many responsibilities. Their core focus is to ensure excellent customer service. They are the primary point of contact between Superior Thread Rolling and the customer. This entails providing the customer with constant status updates regarding orders they have placed, listening to the customers’ needs and creating solutions to enhance customer experience, management of customer portals, and making Superior Thread Rolling the supplier of choice.

Our work schedule for this position is 7:00AM to 3:30 PM Pay for this position is $25.00 to $29.00 Hourly ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Customer Service: Makes sure the customer has a very positive experience with STR – does anything and everything in their power to please customer Responsible for keeping the customer informed on the status of their orders via Gantt Chart, Milestones, Scheduling Board Activity, Emails, etc… Responsible for making weekly phone calls to their customers Responsible for following all customer jobs throughout entire manufacturing process to ensure appropriate turn times are met through each work center Maintains customer contact file in computer system- updates new addresses, updates new points of contacts.

Owner of Contact Management Module in M1 for appropriate customers If quotes come to the Account Manager, it is their responsibility to follow up on the completion of the RFQs for their customers Contact customers’ buyer representative to discuss purchase order changes and request purchase order changes. Fills out customer surveys Manages Customer Portals Maintains a customer complaint log Attend all Production Control meetings and report on any changes to customer needs.

Contract Management: Reviews and follows procedures for contracts administration activities Performs the data entry necessary to ensure their customer’s purchase order has been transferred to the computer system correctly Responsible for reviewing customer purchase order activity compared to promised Long Term Agreement activity Challenged to learn about their customers airplane programs, economic needs, and needs of the future Upon jobs being completed, performs a Job Analysis on all appropriate ‘M’ jobs to evaluate the profitability/loss of the job.

Drives the implementation of actions to improve job profitability. Responsible for creating Packing Slips in the M1 system and shipping to their customers’ on-time. Performs Manufacturing Receipts in the M1 system per TA 213 Update MFG Receipts JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Two years of college minimum. Four years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment with computer order entry and customer service knowledge.

Familiarity with all office equipment.
