Individuals in the job are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting patient care, including patient education, for all age groups, pediatric, adult and geriatric, peri-operative, and postoperative periods of the patient’s surgical experience. Incumbents maintain a clean and safe environment, observe and enforce policies, procedures and practices of the Department of Surgical Services and the institution.
Must use the installed computer systems to support and augment services and be available for mandatory call with a 20-minute response time. The Registered Nurse may make decisions to delegate appropriate nursing tasks to other staff members based upon individual patient need and staff qualifications. Job Requirements: ADN or BSN Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire) BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
