Maintain, Repair, Check and Record equipment such as (but not limited to): Guest Facilities Plant Rooms Electrical LV Panels and Switchboards Lighting System AV System Fire System Kitchen Equipment Controls Motors & Pumps Guest Room Fit Out Plumbing/Drainage HVAC system Ensures that updated records are maintained for all equipment in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and that the equipment is marked accordingly.
Carry out preventive maintenance work orders and ensures that completed tasks are entered in to the records. Report to Electrical Foreman or related Supervisors if corrective work orders as required. Follows up on pending preventive and corrective work orders with the concerned Supervisors. Coordinates closely with the Electrical Foreman to ensure that the preventive maintenance program is working with a minimum interference to all occupants of the building.
Contributes with ideas in finding solutions for daily operational issues within the complete Engineering Department. Notifies the Duty Engineer of any irregularities to plant and equipment or abuse of engineering equipment by other Hotel staff. Maintains proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.
Work closely with Duty Engineer in order to maintain highest standards to the room and related engineering systems Personal presentation will be clean, neat and tidy at all times. Being courteous, professional and service orientated when dealing with Guest and colleagues. Assists Guests and colleagues when appropriate.
Undertakes specific duties and projects when assigned. Supports and attend actively all Training Programs. Familiarizes him-/herself with the technical details of all Plant and Services relating to the Hotel. Assists Engineering colleagues with technical advice and ensure standards are met at all times. Ensures that Legendary Quality Experience Standards are fully maintained throughout his/her shift and exceed our guests' expectations.
Performs any other reasonable duties as required by the Director of Engineering
