Equipment Maintenance Technician

DEFINITION Under general supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work related to City police vehicles and equipment; maintains a variety of records involved in fleet operations, including inventories and the procurement and distribution of parts and supplies; and performs related work as required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED Receives general supervision from assigned management and supervisory staff.  Exercises no direct supervision over staff.
