Construction General Laborer

Construction General Laborer -Looking for a construction general laborer with paid Per Diem, working throughout the Southeast, United States. The Construction General Laborer assists with a variety of tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, and supporting skilled trades to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist tradesmen and machine operators in construction projects. Unload and carry materials at construction sites. Use equipment to break old forms and structures. Prepare and apply construction materials to build structures or fill gaps (e.g cement). Clean out site from debris and discarded material.

Qualifications

Proven experience as construction worker. Comfortability around heavy equipment and machinery. Able to work in a team. Able to read and follow instructions. Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written). Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination. Ability to stand for long hours; ability to lift heavy objects, up to 40 lbs.

; ability to work in outdoor conditions (extreme heat, cold, and humidity).
