Position Summary
We are looking for a Construction Management Senior Associate to support renewable energy construction projects in Japan. This role will be one of a primary on-site responsible and will support daily construction management, contractor coordination, progress tracking, documentation, quality control, and health & safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily site management and act as a key on-site contact for construction activities. Monitor work progress, site production, and deviations from the project schedule. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams. Support materials delivery checks, site documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and quality records.
Ensure site activities comply with contract requirements, quality standards, Japanese safety regulations, and company standards. Identify and escalate site risks, design conflicts, or construction issues in a timely manner. Support Construction Managers and Project Managers in smooth and safe project execution.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction management, site management, WTG installation, or renewable energy projects. Experience in wind, solar, EPC, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects in Japan is preferred.
Good understanding of contractor coordination, site progress monitoring, quality control, documentation, and safety requirements. Business-level Japanese or English communication skills; both languages are preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD or project documentation tools are a plus. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Civil or Electrical Construction Management Engineer certification is a plus. Are you ready to engineer a greener future?
