Senior Child Life Specialist

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Senior Child Life Specialist (CLS) is responsible for providing developmentally appropriate support as a member of a multi-disciplinary care team working with pediatric customer owners who are experiencing a variety of developmental, mental and/or emotional challenges in medical settings.

The Senior Child Life Specialist is responsible for using the principles of child life assessments and interventions to make meaningful coping plans and partner with the customer owner, family, and care teams to provide support through their healthcare experience. In addition, the Senior Child Life Specialist is responsible for mentoring and coaching staff assigned to them on the Nuka System of Care and Child Life Associate development plans.
