Job description
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Clerk maintains optimal inventory levels and coordinates efficiently with suppliers and vendors. This position serves as the first line of defense for supplier issues and the final checkpoint for customer orders. The Clerk schedules vendor and carrier appointments, communicates pickups across departments, and addresses past-due orders with Procurement while notifying Customer Service of any fulfillment concerns.
The Clerk also ships and receives all incoming and outgoing orders ensuring all shipments are accurately documented and records maintained both electronically and physically in a timely, organized manner.
