- Programme Duration: 6 Months
- Stipend: R2,000 per month
- Learning Model: Blended Learning (2 days online learning and 3 days in-store practical training per week)
- Location: Various Pick n Pay Stores within Gauteng Region Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) Unemployed South African youth aged 18–40 years Passion for customer service and the retail industry Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and develop new skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing the programme Able to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays where required Competencies Customer Focus Teamwork Communication Skills Learning Agility Adaptability Accountability Attention to Detail Positive Attitude Professionalism What You Will Learn During the programme, learners will gain practical experience and develop skills in: Customer service excellence Retail operations Merchandising and product replenishment Stock handling and inventory basics Point of Sale (POS) processes Workplace professionalism Teamwork and communication Health and safety practices Time management and problem-solving Key Responsibilities Attend and complete all online learning modules and assessments Participate fully in practical in-store training Deliver excellent customer service Assist with merchandising and maintaining store standards Support stock replenishment and inventory activities Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards Work collaboratively as part of the store team Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude throughout the programme If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
