Overview

of the role Safely transport products to our customers and/delivery hubs ensuring deliveries arrive in a timely manner whilst adhering to traffic regulations . You will be responsible for loading/unloading products to the van, planning efficient routes, conducting vehicle maintenance checks and maintaining accurate delivery records .

You will have strong customer service skills as you will be delivering directly to customer premises .

Key Responsibilities

Transport goods from Elmbridge site to other depots or to customer s i te. Loading / Unloading : Load the van efficiently in order of delivery and unload items at customer premises . Safe handling and lifting should be applied as items may weigh up to 25 kg . Route Planning : Use GPS navigation to determine the most efficient, timely routes while considering traffic and road conditions .

Doc u ment a t i on : Maintain a ccurate records, including fuel usage, mileage, delivery logs, and, in some cases customer signature, invoices or return notes. Vehicle Maintenance : Perform pre-departure checks (oil, gas, water) and ensure the vehicle is clean and operating safely . Customer S ervice : Represent the c ompany professionally, interacting with clients to answer questions or handle enquiries .

Warehouse Support: Support warehouse operations when not undertaking delivery duties, including but not limited to goods-in, picking, packing, stock movement, loading vehicles, housekeeping or other reasonable duties .
