Facilities Cleaning Technician

Position Title: Facilities Cleaning Technician Location: Deland, Florida Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Facilities Cleaning Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. This role is critical to supporting daily operations by ensuring offices, restrooms, common areas, and production-adjacent spaces are kept to high cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap Clean windows, doors, and high-touch surfaces Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs Follow company safety procedures and proper chemical handling practices Support special cleaning projects as needed (deep cleaning, events, audits) Qualifications Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment What We Offer Stable, full-time schedule (no nights or weekends) Competitive hourly pay at $19/hour Consistent Monday – Friday work week Supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to a safe and professional workplace Physical & Work Environment Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Exposure to typical manufacturing facility conditions Use of standard cleaning chemicals and equipment (PPE provided)
