Multiskilled Technician

Location: Stafford, ST16 3UB Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour PAYE, plus overtime paid at x1.5 Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hours per week) Contract: Temporary (3 months) with the opportunity to become permanent Start Date: Immediate start available We are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Technician to join a leading engineering and manufacturing operation based in Stafford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position after an initial three-month temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate tools and techniques Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Assist with the installation, modification and upgrade of plant equipment Accurately document maintenance activities and report any issues promptly Follow all health, safety and site procedures at all times Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to maximise operational efficiency Support both planned and reactive maintenance activities as required Essential Requirements Qualified engineer with either an electrical or mechanical qualification Previous experience working within a maintenance, manufacturing or industrial environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent understanding of health and safety procedures What's on Offer £14.
