WHAT YOU’LL DO Keep Inspection organized – Help maintain an orderly, efficient Inspection Department where paperwork, materials, tooling, and supplies are easy to identify and find. Own the paperwork flow – Scan, organize, file, and maintain inspection records, certifications, travelers, and other quality documentation so records are complete and readily accessible.
Bring order to Receiving Inspection – Maintain Receiving Inspection shelves and staging areas so incoming material is clearly identified, traceable, organized, and easy for the team to locate. Keep documentation moving – Gather certifications, purchase order information, specifications, and other records needed to support inspection activities.
Connect the right people – Identify paperwork or material that requires review by Buyers, Engineering, Quality, or other departments, route it to the right person, and follow up to help keep work from getting stuck. Keep tools where they belong – Help maintain inspection tooling, gages, fixtures, and common-use equipment in clean, organized, designated locations.
Support calibration – Help locate gages that have been recalled for calibration and ensure they are delivered to the calibration coordinator. Maintain an inspection-ready workspace – Help organize departmental supplies, support replenishment needs, and keep the Inspection area clean, professional, and efficient. Work across the business – Communicate with Inspection, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams to help resolve documentation and material-related issues.
Look for better ways to work – Participate in 5S and continuous improvement efforts that improve organization, documentation flow, material handling, and overall department efficiency. WHAT YOU BRING High school diploma or equivalent Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay on top of follow-up items, and adjust as priorities change Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Comfort learning ERP systems and other electronic business and document-management systems Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple departments Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
