Incumbents are responsible for assisting with a variety of routine laboratory procedures including cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling laboratory equipment; preparing compounds, solutions, media, and reagents; and performing standardized bacteriological, chemical, and physical laboratory tests and sample analysis .
